Short Game Practice
Pitching and chipping is easy - if you don’t feel the same way you need to check out the Learngolf Short Game System.
Short Game Practice Drill
This is a short game workout to develop your skills:-
- Select a chip shot on a flat part of your practice green.
- Place a golf score card half way between your ball and the hole, (stride this out to get a reasonably accurate measurement). This is your landing area.
- To ensure that you have lined the club head up accurately place a tee peg on your club face (use some Blue tac) and you will see exactly where your are aiming. Incorrect alignment will cause you to manipulate the club head somewhere during your action which complicates your movement and develops inconsistencies with your strike.
- With the LearnGolf System, you will be able to strike the ball on the target line with ease.
- Developing your distance control will take a little practice, but as your ‘weight-distance’ sensory skills develop you will be able to hit your landing area regularly.
- The intension with this shot is to land the ball half way and let it run half way, a very simple and effective shot.
